Terms & privacy
The rules for using Sloppr, how we handle your information, and how to report a problem.
Terms of Service
These Terms are an agreement between you and Prasinus LLC about your use of sloppr.com, creator shops hosted by Sloppr, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to create an account or buy credits. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, check it once and don’t keep it; we keep only a record that you confirmed you’re 18 or older. Sloppr is not for anyone under 18 and may not be offered or marketed to them. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
To sign up, you tick a box that says: “I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. I won’t make sexual or intimate content of real people, or use anyone’s face or voice without their written permission.” We keep a record of when you agreed and to which version. Accounts made before we asked for this confirm their date of birth and agree once, before their next upload or paid job. To confirm your email address, we send a link and a 6-digit code. Either works once, for 24 hours.
You agree to give accurate information, keep your password secure and tell us promptly at support@sloppr.com if you think your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity on your account. An account is for one person or one business.
What Sloppr does
Sloppr is software that helps creators make AI characters, generate and remix short AI videos (with or without a product in them), design products, and present them in a creator shop. Sloppr is not the seller of any creator’s merchandise, does not make or ship products, and does not hold buyer payments. See Creator shops and selling.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload or create with Sloppr, including artwork, photos, characters and their images and voices, prompts and generated videos (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, adapt and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service. That includes sending it to the AI and fulfillment providers that produce your outputs, and showing content you choose to publish, such as shop pages and product links, to the public. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies in routine backups, which expire on their normal schedule, and content others have already saved from public pages.
You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have all the rights needed to upload it, to have it used as described here and to sell any product made from it, including rights in any artwork, logos, characters and likenesses it contains.
Content from users
Uploads, prompts, characters, remixes, shared videos, shop pages and product listings are the responsibility of the user who provides or publishes them. We aren’t obliged to review content, and we don’t guarantee we’ll find or remove content that breaks these Terms or the law. We may review, restrict, label, decline to generate, remove or unpublish content, and suspend accounts, at our discretion, including with automated tools. We review every report within 48 hours and tell the person who sent it what we did. Except where the law requires a specific response, as it does for copyright notices and intimate image removal requests, a report doesn’t oblige us to take any particular action.
Outputs are generated automatically at your direction, from the prompts, uploads and choices you provide. You decide whether to keep, publish, share or sell them, and you’re responsible for how you use them.
AI-generated output
Videos and images are generated by third-party AI models from your prompts and references. As between you and Sloppr, you may use the outputs you generate, subject to these Terms and the law. Outputs can be inaccurate or unexpected. Lettering, logos, product details and people may be altered, and similar outputs may be produced for other users. Review every output before you post or sell it. Some outputs may not be eligible for copyright protection.
Scripts, captions, dialogue and other text Sloppr writes with AI can contain false or misleading statements. Check every factual claim before you publish it.
AI providers and their rules
Sloppr makes characters, voices, videos and remixes with AI models from other companies, most of them through fal.ai: OpenAI (GPT Image), Black Forest Labs (FLUX), Kuaishou (Kling), MiniMax (H3), ElevenLabs, Meta (Muse Image and SAM) and Anthropic (Claude). When you use Sloppr, you must also follow their rules: the fal Acceptable Use Policy, OpenAI Usage Policies, Black Forest Labs Usage Policy, Kling AI Community Guidelines, MiniMax Terms, ElevenLabs Prohibited Use Policy, Meta Acceptable Use Policy and Anthropic Usage Policy. If a provider’s rule is stricter than these Terms, the stricter rule applies.
Sloppr or a provider may decline any request. A declined request is final: don’t try to get the same result another way, for example by rewording, splitting or sending it again. If an AI service declines to make something under its content rules, we stop, refund the credits for it in full and never send it to another service. If something fails for a technical reason, we may try once more with a second service, at that service’s default safety level.
AI labels
Every picture, video and sound Sloppr’s AI makes or changes carries tags inside the file that say AI made it, name Sloppr, and give the date and a random ID. They never say who made it. Videos Sloppr makes show a visible “AI-generated” label unless you turn it off, and remixes always show “AI-modified”. Anyone can check a file or a Sloppr link at sloppr.com/verify, and we don’t keep what they check.
Turn off the “AI-generated” label only for cartoon or clearly unreal videos. Don’t remove, crop out, blur or change these tags or labels, don’t add them to anything Sloppr didn’t make, and don’t claim that Sloppr output is real footage or was made without AI. Ordinary processing by a platform when you upload is not a breach.
Characters, likenesses and voices
You can create characters from a description, start one from a photo, upload a character image, and give a character a voice. Characters are private to your account; videos you publish or share may show them.
- Real people need written permission. You may start a character from a photo, or make a character or voice that looks or sounds like a real person, only if it is you, or an adult who has given you informed, written permission (a signed note, email or message is enough) to make that character and use it the way you intend, including in ads and on products you sell. Sloppr asks you to confirm this for each new picture: you say who it is, confirm that no one in it is under 18 or a public figure and that you have the right to use it in AI videos and ads, and sign with your typed name. Keep the permission while you use the content and for three years after, and send it to us within 7 days if we ask. Confirming permission you don’t have breaks these Terms.
- No public figures or minors. Don’t create or voice a celebrity, politician, candidate, influencer or other public figure, living or dead. Never start a character from, or upload a voice of, anyone under 18, and don’t make content that looks or sounds like a real child.
- Voices. Upload only a recording of your own voice. You confirm that it’s yours and that you’re 18 or older, and sign with your typed name. Don’t use a character’s voice to impersonate anyone, or in phone calls, voicemails, texts or robocalls.
- Withdrawn permission. If someone whose likeness or voice you used asks you to stop, delete the character and the videos that use it. If they ask us, we may remove them.
Remixing videos of people
A remix changes up to four people in a video you upload: it turns each of them into one of your characters, puts your product on them, or both. Everyone else in the video, and its sound, stay as uploaded.
- Your footage. Upload only video you have the right to use, including its sound, which stays in your remix.
- The people you change. Choose only yourself, or adults who have each given you written permission to change them this way and to use the remix the way you intend, including in ads and for products you sell. A character takes on their movements and expressions, and their voices stay in the sound. If you put your product on a real person, don’t suggest that they bought, wear or recommend it unless that’s true and they agreed to be shown that way. Before each remix you confirm: “I’m in this video, or everyone I’m changing agreed in writing. No one is under 18 or a public figure.” Keep the permission; we may ask for it.
- No public figures or minors. Don’t change a celebrity, politician, candidate, influencer or other public figure, living or dead, or anyone under 18. If a child appears in the background of a video you remix, don’t use that remix in ads or on products.
- Everyone else in it. Other people are not changed, but they still appear in your remix. You need the right to show them the way you use it, especially in ads.
- Withdrawn permission. If someone in a remix asks you to stop using it, delete it. If they ask us, we may remove it.
Ads and endorsements
If you use Sloppr content to advertise, you are the advertiser and are responsible for complying with advertising and consumer-protection law, including the FTC’s rules on endorsements, testimonials and reviews, and each platform’s rules for ads and AI-generated content. In particular:
- Characters are characters, not customers. An AI character can be your brand’s host, mascot or model. Don’t present it as a real customer, reviewer, expert or influencer, and don’t have it say it bought, used, tested or got results from a product.
- Label AI. When a video shows realistic people or voices made or changed with AI, keep a clear “AI-generated” or “AI-modified” label in the video and use the platform’s AI label. Ads with an AI performer must say so: New York requires it now, and California from January 1, 2027. For a video Sloppr makes, turn on “This is an ad”: it adds “AI-generated · No human performer is depicted” for the first 4 seconds and to the caption.
- Say who’s behind it. If it isn’t obvious the product is yours, or you were paid, got free products or credits, or earn a commission, say so at the start of the post and in the video (“#ad”, “My shop”, “Paid partnership with ___”).
- Show the real product. AI can change colors, print, fit and lettering. Products in your videos must look like what buyers receive.
- Back up every claim, such as health, safety, results, earnings, origin or sales numbers.
- No fake social proof. Don’t create, buy or sell fake reviews, ratings, followers, likes or views, or reward only positive reviews.
Scripts Sloppr writes keep characters as hosts or mascots, never customers, and point out lines that read like a review or a claim so you can change them. When a video has a product in it, the caption starts with “My shop:” or “#ad” and says “AI-generated” when scenes show realistic people. Sloppr won’t write scripts about public figures, election candidates, children, sex or politics. You are still responsible for what you post.
Service changes and availability
We may change, add or remove features, and we may limit usage to protect the Service, for example through spending, upload or rate limits. We try to keep Sloppr available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Third-party services
Some features depend on services we do not control, including Stripe, Printful, Shopify, Printify, fal.ai and other AI providers. Your use of a connected third-party account is also governed by that provider’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their charges to you.
Open-source software
Sloppr converts HEIC photos in your browser with libheif 1.23.2 and libde265, built by libheif-js and used unmodified under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3. Their source code is available from libheif, libde265 and libheif-js.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Sloppr at any time. You can delete your account yourself in Your account, or ask us to close it by emailing support@sloppr.com. We may suspend or close accounts, remove content or unpublish shops that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or harm other users, buyers, providers or the Service. We will usually give notice first unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. When an account is suspended or deleted, paid work it started stops before the next AI request, and the credits for that work are refunded. If we close your account for a reason other than a violation of these Terms, we will refund your unused purchased credits. We may report illegal content or activity to law enforcement, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Stripe or the affected AI provider.
Disclaimers
The Service and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prasinus LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any sales, views, followers or other results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prasinus LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Sloppr in the 12 months before the claim arose or $100.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Prasinus LLC against third-party claims, and related costs and reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, products you sell, your dealings with your buyers, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect. For a material change we also ask you to agree to the new version in the app before your next upload or paid job. If you agree to a new version before its effective date, it applies to you from when you agree. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sloppr to create, upload, publish or sell anything that:
- Infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights, including characters, logos, brands or artwork you do not own or have permission to use.
- Uses a real person’s name, face, voice or likeness without their permission, including as a character, a character voice or the person changed in a remix, depicts a public figure, or is designed to mislead people into believing it shows a real event, statement or endorsement.
- Is sexually explicit, or shows a real, identifiable person in a sexual or intimate way (“explicit deep fake content”), with or without their consent, or sexualizes anyone who is or appears to be under 18. Sloppr is not designed or offered for this, and we use automated safety tools to block it. See Intimate image removal.
- Exploits or endangers children, or creates a character from a photo of a real child. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
- Presents AI-generated people as real customers, experts or endorsers, or creates fake reviews or testimonials.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, harassment or hatred against people based on protected characteristics.
- Promotes or opposes a candidate, political party or ballot measure, or is meant to influence an election or voting.
- Impersonates a government agency, a business or brand, or a real person, or falsely suggests that any of them endorses or is connected with something.
- Uses a character’s voice in phone calls, voicemails, texts or robocalls.
- Tries to get around Sloppr’s or a provider’s safety systems, for example by rewording, splitting or re-submitting a declined request.
- Removes or changes an AI label, or the AI tags in a file Sloppr made.
- Identifies, tracks or profiles people, or recognizes faces or voices.
- Is illegal, fraudulent or deceptive, or sells prohibited or dangerous products, including products that break product-safety or labeling laws.
- Contains malware or collects other people’s information without consent.
Also do not: attempt to access other accounts or non-public systems; get around limits, pricing or security controls; scrape or overload the Service; resell access to the Service; use it to build a competing product; or use Sloppr or its outputs to train or build an AI model, or try to extract or reverse engineer a model. We may remove content, cancel generations, unpublish shops and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Credits and refunds
- What credits are. Credits are prepaid credits, priced in US dollars, that you can use only for Sloppr’s paid AI features, such as videos, remixes, characters and voices. They are not money, a deposit or a gift card, aren’t sold as gifts, can’t be used in creator shops or anywhere else, and can’t be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash except as described here or where the law requires.
- Terms and conditions apply. Terms and conditions are applied to gift certificates or gift cards, including Sloppr credits. These are those terms.
- No subscription, no expiry, no fees. Sloppr has no subscription: you buy a credit pack only when you want one. Credits don’t expire while your account is open, and we never charge a fee for holding or not using them. If we change this policy, the change applies only to credits bought after it takes effect.
- Limits. An account can hold up to $1,000 in credits and buy up to $500 in any 24 hours. We don’t offer a pack that would go over either limit.
- Prices. We show the full price before anything is made, and we never charge more than that. That price is the whole charge; there are no other fees. Prices for future work may change.
- Free first character. Your first character is free: one round of 4 looks, one per person, after you confirm your email, while today’s free rounds last. If they’re used up, make it at the usual price or come back tomorrow. If the free round makes nothing, you can try again for free. When our sign-up bot check is on, the free round also needs a sign-up that passed it. Voices, changes, videos and remixes are never free. We may end this offer at any time.
- First pack bonus. Your first credit pack comes with $2 extra in bonus credits. Bonus credits pay for anything purchased credits pay for, but they can’t be refunded.
- Failed generations. If a generation fails and doesn’t deliver a result, its credits return to your balance automatically.
- Refunds of unused credits. Within 30 days of purchase, email support@sloppr.com from your account’s email address. We refund to the original payment method, up to the unspent part of that purchase, and start the refund within 5 business days. After 30 days, purchased credits can’t be refunded except where the law requires (for example, where a state requires a small remaining balance to be paid in cash on request) or when we close your account for a reason other than a violation of these Terms.
- Closing your account. Deleting your account closes its credit balance. If you bought credits in the last 30 days, email us for a refund before you delete it.
- Disputes. If something went wrong, please contact us first. We may place a hold on an account while a card dispute is open.
Creator shops and selling
Sellers
When you sell through a Sloppr shop, you are the seller and merchant of record. You are responsible for your products and listings, prices, fulfillment and shipping, customer support, returns, refunds, chargebacks, taxes and legal compliance. That includes intellectual property, product safety and consumer-protection rules. You must publish accurate seller contact details and policies.
Buyer payments go directly to your own Stripe account. Payment processing for sellers on Sloppr is provided by Stripe and is subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By selling through a Sloppr shop you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as Stripe may modify it. As a condition of Sloppr enabling payment processing through Stripe, you agree to give Sloppr accurate and complete information about you and your business. You also authorize Sloppr to share it, and transaction information related to your use of Stripe’s payment processing, with Stripe.
Sloppr currently takes no fee on sales in Sloppr shops. Stripe’s processing fees and your fulfillment costs are separate and are charged to your own accounts. If we ever introduce a sales fee, we will show it before it applies, and your new orders will not be charged it until you accept it.
If you connect Printful, Printful bills your Printful account for production and shipping, sometimes before Stripe pays you. You authorize Sloppr to create, and where you choose automatic fulfillment to confirm, orders in the Printful store you connect, within the limits you set. Printful Quick Stores and other external shops use their own checkout and terms.
Buyers
Purchases in creator shops are made from the independent creator named on the shop and checkout, not from Sloppr. Contact the seller about orders, delivery, returns and refunds. Seller contact details appear on each shop. If you believe a seller is acting fraudulently, report it at sloppr.com/report or tell us at support@sloppr.com.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Sloppr collects, how we use and share it, and your choices. It applies to sloppr.com, creator shops hosted by Sloppr and related services.
Who we are
Sloppr is operated by Prasinus LLC, 2222 W. Grand River Ave, Ste A, Okemos, MI 48864, USA. Privacy questions and requests: support@sloppr.com, (231) 233-5071.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, display name and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in readable form.
- Age and agreement: when you sign up, we ask for your date of birth, check it once and don’t keep it. We keep only a record that you confirmed you’re 18 or older, and when you agreed to which version of our Terms.
- Your content: uploads (including videos you remix, which can show other people), product designs, characters and their images, voice recordings and voices, prompts, generated videos and shop content.
- Photos of real people: if you start a character from a photo, we send it to fal.ai, which runs the image models that draw your character’s looks. We don’t create a faceprint or face template and don’t use the photo to recognize anyone.
- Voice recordings: if you upload a recording of your voice, we clean it up and cut short clips (2 to 15 seconds). Each time you make a video in which that character speaks, we send those clips to fal.ai, which runs MiniMax’s H3 video model, so the character speaks in your voice. We don’t use the recording to identify or verify anyone; the AI model analyzes the sound of the voice in order to imitate it.
- Consents you sign: each time you confirm permission for a picture, a remix or your voice, we keep the exact words you agreed to and their version, the Terms version, your typed name, the time, a hash of the file and a hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
- Purchases: records of credit purchases and spending, and the Terms version you accepted at checkout. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not receive full card numbers.
- Seller information: business name, support email, shop policies, your Stripe account identifier and readiness status, and encrypted access tokens for accounts you connect, such as Printful.
- Buyer information in creator shops: the name, email address, delivery or billing address and order details a buyer enters. We process this to complete the order for the seller.
- Reports: if you report something at sloppr.com/report, what you tell us, including your name, email address and typed signature, and who you report for.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, and logs our servers create when you use the Service, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies: essential sign-in cookies, and one first-party cookie, kept for 90 days, set on your first visit to one of our public pages. It records which version of our landing page you saw and how you found Sloppr: the campaign tags in the link (utm_ tags), a referral code, the host name of the site that sent you and the first page you opened. We don’t store full web addresses, ad click IDs, IP addresses or browser details with it, and if you never sign up, the record is deleted when the cookie expires. If a sign-up is refused because of age, a cookie stops that browser from signing up again for 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.
How we use information
We use it to provide and secure the Service, including to:
- create your outputs;
- check that you’re an adult and keep a record of what you agreed to;
- process payments and orders;
- send account and transactional emails;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- review reports and enforce our Terms;
- respond to support requests;
- understand, in aggregate, how people find and use Sloppr;
- comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use your content to train AI models.
How we share information
- Service providers who operate the Service for us:
- Supabase: database and sign-in
- DigitalOcean: hosting
- Stripe: payments, under the Stripe Privacy Policy
- Resend: email delivery
- Cloudflare: when our bot check is on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks at sign-up that you’re a person, which sends it your IP address and information about your browser
- Google Fonts: typefaces on creator shop pages and on our pages for shared videos, reports and file checks, which sends your IP address to Google
- AI providers that make what you ask for. Each receives only what that step needs. We ask fal.ai to keep no history of our requests and to delete the files it stores for a request after 24 hours. Each provider handles what it receives under its own terms and may keep copies for a time, for example to check for abuse.
- fal.ai runs every image, video, voice and person-tracking request; its safety systems may check content with OpenAI’s moderation service
- OpenAI: character pictures, photos you start a character from, and stills of people you choose in a remix
- Black Forest Labs: the same kinds of images, for clothing try-on and edits
- Kuaishou (Kling AI, data stored in Singapore): short clips of the people you choose to change in a remix
- MiniMax (H3, run by fal): prompts, character and product pictures, and voice clips
- ElevenLabs: voice descriptions
- Meta: pictures, only when Muse Image is used
- Anthropic (Claude): your video idea, product details and character pictures, to write scenes
- Services you connect, such as Printful, Shopify or Printify, and ntfy if you use “Send to my phone”.
- Sellers and their providers: a buyer’s order and delivery information is shared with the seller, the seller’s Stripe account and, for printed products, the seller’s Printful account.
- The public: anything you publish, such as shop pages, product pages and shared video links, is visible to anyone with the link. A shared video link works for 7 days, and a video that is deleted or taken down stops playing at once. The page a shared link opens never shows your name or, for a remix, the original footage.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, including reports to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or Sloppr.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Videos you remix
A video you upload to remix can show people other than you. We use it only to make the remixes you ask for.
- Finding the people in it. When you upload a video, we send a smaller copy to fal.ai, which outlines the people, animals and characters in it so you can tap who to change. This happens before you pay for anything. Sometimes, such as when fal.ai is unavailable, a detector on our own servers finds them instead. We keep the video, sample frames from it, and small pictures of each person found with where they appear. People are numbered (“Person 1”), never identified, and we do not estimate anyone’s age, gender, race or other traits.
- Making the remix. fal.ai follows the people you chose through the video, shows your product on a still image of each of them or on your character’s picture, and edits a crop of the video around each of them. When an edit changes someone’s shape (your character, a hat, or something in their hand), fal.ai also outlines that change in the edited crop. Our servers then put only those people, and what changed on them, back into your original video.
- Keeping their face as uploaded. When someone you chose stays themselves and only gets your product, our servers keep their face as uploaded: they look for it in each frame and keep the original pixels wherever it is found, except where your product is in front of it. Everything except that person is blanked out before a frame reaches the face detector, so no one else’s face is looked at. Our face detector reports only a box around each face, its position and size. We don’t extract or keep facial landmarks, measurements or a face template, and the box can’t be used to recognize anyone. The face positions are discarded once the video is finished, and are never stored or shared. For anyone you turn into your character, the face detector does not run.
- How long we keep it. The video, its frames and the pictures of people found stay in your uploads until you delete them or your account. A video we cannot use is deleted. The outlines, crops, stills and pictures made for a remix are deleted when it finishes or fails. A finished remix is kept like your other videos.
If you appear on Sloppr without agreeing
If someone made a character or voice from your photo or recording, or changed you in a remix, without your permission, report it at sloppr.com/report or email support@sloppr.com. You don’t need an account. We review every report within 48 hours. When we take something down, it stops loading everywhere on Sloppr, identical copies come down too, and the same file can’t be uploaded again.
Retention
We keep account information and Your Content while your account is open. Character looks you do not save are deleted 15 days after they are created. A voice recording you upload, and the clips cut from it, are deleted when you remove the voice or delete the character, or within three years of your last use of Sloppr, whichever comes first. Videos you upload to remix, and the files made from them, are kept as described in Videos you remix; face positions found while making a remix are never stored.
When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information at once; when you ask us by email, we do it within 30 days. We keep records we need for payments, tax, dispute handling, fraud prevention or legal obligations, and backup copies expire on their normal schedule. We keep each consent you signed until 5 years after your account closes, so we can show who agreed to what. To keep the free first character to one per person, we keep a hash of your email address, never the address itself, after you delete your account. When the law requires us to preserve an account’s files for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, we keep them for a year, even if you delete them or your account.
Faces, voices and biometric data
Some laws treat information about a person’s face or voice as biometric data, such as a “scan of face geometry” or a “voiceprint”. This is our public policy for that data.
- What we collect and why. Pictures of people you upload to make a character, used only to draw that character. Recordings of your own voice, used only to make your characters speak in your voice. Videos you upload to remix, used only to find and change the people you choose. We don’t use any of this to identify, recognize or verify anyone, and we don’t build face or voice databases. Our face detector reports only a box around a face, which we throw away when the remix is finished.
- Who receives it. Only the service providers that make what you asked for: fal.ai and the AI providers listed in How we share information, and our hosting and storage providers. We never sell, lease or trade it, or otherwise profit from it, and we don’t disclose it to anyone else unless you agree or the law requires it, for example a valid warrant or subpoena.
- Consent. Before we use a picture of a person to make a character, you tell us who it is (you, or another adult who agreed in writing) and sign with your typed name. Only your own voice can be uploaded, and you sign for it the same way. We keep each consent as described in Retention.
- How long we keep it. Voice recordings and the clips cut from them are deleted when you remove the voice or delete the character, or within three years of your last use of Sloppr. Pictures used to make a character are kept until you delete your account, even if you delete the character. Remix videos stay in your uploads until you delete them or your account. Face positions found while making a remix are never stored. Deleting your account deletes all of it, except files the law requires us to preserve.
- Security. We send this data only over encrypted connections, limit who can open it, and protect it at least as carefully as the other personal information we hold.
- Questions and deletion requests: support@sloppr.com.
Your choices and rights
You can change your display name in the app and delete products, videos and characters there. In Your account you can also use:
- Download my data: one .tar file with everything in your account: characters, voices, videos, products, your shop, your credit history, the consents you signed and every file. You can download it 3 times a day, and each link works once, within an hour.
- Delete my account: deletes your characters, voices, videos, products, uploads and shop, and removes your name and email. It can’t be undone, so you type your account’s email to confirm. We keep your credit purchases and credit history, shop orders, the consents you signed and moderation records, which we need for taxes, payments and the law.
To access, correct, export or delete your personal information in another way, or to close your account, email support@sloppr.com from your account’s email address. We may need to verify your request. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights to know, delete or correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We honor these requests for all users.
Do Not Track and tracking by others
We don’t track you across other websites or apps, and we don’t let advertising or analytics companies collect information about your activity on Sloppr over time and across other sites. We treat every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Stripe may collect device information on its payment pages to prevent fraud, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser information at sign-up when our bot check is on, and Google receives your IP address when your browser loads Google Fonts, each under its own privacy policy.
Security
We use HTTPS, encrypt stored credentials for connected accounts, and limit access to personal information. No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password. To report a security problem, email support@sloppr.com, the contact in our security.txt.
Children and age
Sloppr is only for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our rules forbid making characters, voices or remixes of anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its personal information, uploads and creations, except anything the law requires us to keep. Parents and guardians can tell us at support@sloppr.com with the subject “Underage account”.
Where we process data
Sloppr is offered to people in the United States. We and our service providers store and process information in the United States, and some AI providers listed above process requests in other countries, including Singapore.
Changes
We will post updates to this policy here with a new effective date, and notify account holders of material changes.
Intimate image removal
If Sloppr shows an intimate image or video of you that was shared without your consent, including one made or altered with AI, you can ask us to remove it. You don’t need a Sloppr account. Use the form at sloppr.com/report, the report link on any shop page or shared video, or email support@sloppr.com with the subject “Removal request”. You can also write to the address in Copyright and reports. Your request must include:
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough), or that of someone authorized to act for you;
- a link to the image or video, or other information that lets us find it on Sloppr;
- a brief statement that you believe in good faith it was shared without your consent, with any information that helps us confirm that;
- how we can contact you.
The form gives you a request number right away. As soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after a valid request, we remove it, make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies anywhere on Sloppr, and block the same file from being uploaded or shared again. We tell you what we removed, or why we couldn’t act, and may suspend the account that posted it. If it appears to show someone under 18, we also keep a copy for a year for the authorities, as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Content removed this way is not restored through the copyright counter-notice process.
Copyright and reports
We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on Sloppr infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent by email, with the subject “Copyright notice”, or by mail:
Copyright Agent, Prasinus LLC
2222 W. Grand River Ave, Ste A
Okemos, MI 48864
Phone: (231) 233-5071
Email: support@sloppr.com
Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the URL or other information that lets us find the material;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
You can also choose copyright at sloppr.com/report. The form doesn’t ask for everything a notice needs, so we’ll ask you by email for the rest (your address, your phone number and the two statements above) before we treat it as a notice.
We will remove or disable access to material we believe in good faith is infringing and notify the user who posted it.
Counter-notices. If we removed or disabled your content because of a copyright notice and you believe this happened because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send our Copyright Agent a written counter-notice that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before it was removed or disabled; (3) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and (4) your name, address and telephone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Prasinus LLC may be found), and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person’s agent. When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who sent the original notice and tell them that we will restore the material in 10 business days. We will restore it between 10 and 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless our Copyright Agent first receives notice that the person who sent the original notice has filed a court action seeking to restrain you from the activity. This process does not apply to content removed under Intimate image removal or for other violations of these Terms.
Repeat infringers. We keep a record of copyright notices for each account. A notice counts against an account unless it is withdrawn, successfully countered, or we find it invalid. We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly or blatantly infringe. That includes their shops, characters and stored content. As a general rule, an account with three countable notices within 12 months will be terminated, and we may act sooner for blatant infringement or knowingly false counter-notices. A terminated user may not open a new account. This policy covers uploads, AI-generated outputs, remixes, shared videos and shop listings.
Misrepresentation. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
To report a character, voice or remix made from your likeness without permission, trademark misuse, a fake review or endorsement, impersonation, an unlabeled AI ad, harmful content or a fraudulent seller, use sloppr.com/report (no account needed) or email support@sloppr.com with a link and a short explanation. We review every report within 48 hours and will email you what we did. To report a shop, you can also call (231) 233-5071.
